Certified translation in video games

Do you play computer games? I suppose you do. I used to play a lot when I was younger, now I play just occasionally. Now I am a grown up so I choose games for mature players. Usually these are first person shooters or role-playing games, containing a lot of violence and harsh language. Last time I played a computer game where I was a gangster who is trying to build his own criminal syndicate. In this game you have to kill people, steal cars, rob banks or blackmail people. I know that these things are evil but that"s just a game! The reason why they are rated adult is obvious right now. My point is that computer games are becoming more and more popular, budgets used to create new, fascinating games are even higher than budgets of some movies! Producers pay lot of money for the Certified Translation of games. You have to remember that they are translated in about 30 languages so that has to be done perfectly. I played a few games that were translated carelessly and I was shocked how a lack of Certified translation can spoil the game. People pay a lot of money to play a nice, interesting and involving video game and they get such a crap. In the area of games translation, Polish producers are on the top of the list. They always care about correct translation of particular utterance in the game.
